WHO:

Students entering grades 4-9 for the '24-'25 school year!

 

WHAT:

Students will spend a week learning from Mitchell School District Music Staff and MHS choir students.

If registrations warrant, the camp will consist of two choirs: an Elementary Show Choir (students entering grades 4-6) and a Middle School Show Choir (students entering grades 7-9). Membership into the camp is limited to 60 students in each show choir.

Over the course of the week, participants will learn a show choir show consisting of 3-4 songs. The culmination of the week’s rehearsals will be shared with family and friends on the final day of the camp in the MHS Performing Arts Center Auditorium.

 

WHEN:

Monday, 6/24 - Friday, 6/28, 1:00-5:00 PM each day

Final Showcase: Friday, 6/28 @ 5:30 PM

WHERE:

Mitchell High School Performing Arts Center

 

WHY:

Students will participate in an intensive week of rehearsals, learn choreographed routines, develop vocal technique, and prepare music for performance. The culminating activity will be a Final Showcase Performance on the final day of the camp. Whether this is their first thrill of show choir or an expansion of their skills as a performer for their own show choir or other performance opportunities, this experience will help all of the participating students become more effective singers, dancers, & performers!

MISC:

Participants will receive a t-shirt that will be worn during the Final Showcase Performance!

Participants will receive a snack each day of camp!

COST:

$30 for all participating students!*
*As anticipated, The COVID funding that had been available the past two years that made the cost of this camp free to all participants is unfortunately no longer available this year. However, we have worked VERY hard to find funding sources in order to keep the cost of this camp as low as possible for all participants.

The registration fee must be paid by Friday, June 21, 2024.

              *Where it asks "What's this for?" Please type:

              "Camp - (plus participants First & Last Name)" 
              *Without that information we will not be able to credit the

               correct student for payment. 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JUNE 21, 2024

You will automatically receive a copy of your registration form via email once completed as confirmation of registration. 

You will also receive an additional email the weekend before camp with additional information and final details.
